Harga minyak umumnya merujuk kepada harga spot dari satu barrel minyak, sebuah harga rujukan bagi para pembeli dan penjual minyak seperti West Texas Intermediate (WTI), Brent Crude, Dubai Crude, OPEC Reference Basket, Tapis Crude, Bonny Light, Urals oil, Isthmus dan Western Canadian Select (WCS).[1][2] Terdapat perbedaan pada harga barrel minyak berdasarkan pada tingkatannya yang ditentukan oleh faktor-faktor seperti turunan spesifiknya dan kandungan sulfurnya serta lokasinya seperti kedekatannya dengan air pasang dan/atau SPBU.
