Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE, Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc.) adalah sebuah produsen film dan acara televisi yang merupakan bagian dari Sony.

Sejarah

Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tahun 1989 oleh The Coca-Cola Company di Amerika Serikat dengan nama Columbia Pictures Entertainment. ^[2] Pada tahun 1991, setelah diperoleh Sony Corporation, diganti namanya sebagai Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc.>^[3]^[4]

Sony telah menciptakan banyak film lainnya produksi dan distribusi unit, seperti pembuatan Sony Pictures Classics untuk tarif rumah seni, dengan membentuk Columbia TriStar Pictures menggabungkan Columbia Pictures dan TriStar Pictures pada tahun 1998, revitalisasi Columbia Pictures TV, mantan divisi Screen Gems.
