Brockville adalah kota yang terletak di wilayah Thousand Islands di Sungai St. Lawrence, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario Timur, Kanada.

Dikenal sebagai "Kota Thousand Islands", kota ini terletak di pantai utara Sungai Lawrence, persis berseberangan dengan desa Morristown di negara bagian New York, Amerika Serikat. Kota ini berada di tengah-tengah antara Cornwall dan Kingston, dan kira-kira satu jam berkendara ke arah selatan dari ibu kota Kanada, Ottawa. Brockville adalah kota tertua di Ontario. Nama kota ini berasal dari nama Jenderal Sir Isaac Brock.

Sejarah

Kawasan ini mulai dihuni tahun 1785 oleh ratusan pengungsi dari Amerika yang nantinya disebut kaum Loyalis Kerajaan Bersatu yang mendukung Raja George III selama Perang Revolusi Amerika. Sungai yang mengalir antara Brockville and Morristown, New York diberi nama Sungai St. Lawrence oleh penjelajah Prancis pada tahun 1700-an untuk memperingati martir Kristen Romawi, Santo Laurensius.
