In 1953, the Chrysler Windsor (along with the rest of the Chrysler line) got new sheet metal and finally a one-piece curved windshield.<ref name="flory2008"/> Power steering was a $177 option.<ref name="flory2008"/>

Chrysler Windsor adalah mobil ukuran penuh yang dibuat oleh Chrysler dari tahun 1939 hingga 1960-an. Chrysler Windsor terakhir yang dijual di Amerika Serikat diproduksi pada tahun 1961, tetapi produksi di Kanada berlanjut hingga 1966. Model Windsor Kanada 1961-1966 adalah untuk semua maksud dan tujuan yang setara dengan Chrysler Newport di Amerika Serikat.

Windsor hampir identik dengan Chrysler New Yorker yang lebih mewah dalam hal ukuran, interior dan fitur standar kecuali bahwa itu hanya tersedia dengan Chrysler Straight Six yang awalnya memulai perusahaan pada tahun 1925, yang menawarkan pelanggan mobil mewah dengan mesin yang lebih sederhana dan ekonomis.
