IAI Harop (atau IAI Harpy 2) adalah kendaraan tempur udara tak berawak (UCAV) yang dikembangkan oleh divisi MBT Israel Aerospace Industries. Memegang hulu ledak ledak tinggi yang terpisah, pesawat tak berawak itu sendiri adalah mesiu utama. UCAV SEAD-dioptimalkan ini dirancang untuk medan perang dan menyerang target dengan merusak diri ke dalamnya.
IAI Harop adalah versi yang lebih besar dari IAI Harpy dan diluncurkan dari darat atau tabung berbasis laut, tetapi dapat diadaptasi untuk udara-peluncuran. Berbeda dengan sepenuhnya otonom Harpy, bagaimanapun, Harop dikendalikan dalam penerbangan oleh operator jarak jauh. Harop memiliki dua mode bimbingan:. itu bisa baik rumah di atas emisi radio dengan sendirinya dengan sistem homing anti-radar, atau operator dapat memilih statis atau bergerak target terdeteksi oleh pesawat elektro- sensor optik. Modus kedua ini memungkinkan Harop untuk menyerang radar yang saat ini ditutup dan karena itu tidak memberikan emisi untuk pesawat untuk secara otomatis rumah di atas.
Turki mungkin telah menjadi pelanggan peluncuran untuk Harop pada tahun 2005. Pada bulan Oktober 2005, MBDA menyerahkan Harop (di bawah nama "White Hawk") ke Kementerian Pertahanan Britania Raya untuk dipertimbangkan sebagai sistem untuk Ministry's Loitering Munition Capability Demonstration (LMCD), atau dikenal sebagai "Fire Shadow". Harop terpilih sebagai salah satu finalis, tetapi ditolak ketika MoD memutuskan bahwa kontrak harus pergi ke tim Inggris. Pada bulan Agustus 2007, pemerintah India sedang bernegosiasi untuk membeli delapan sampai sepuluh sistem Harop. Pada bulan September 2009, Angkatan Udara India mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan melantik 10 sistem Harop dibeli seharga US $ 100 Juta. Harop publik diresmikan kepada dunia untuk pertama kalinya di India, dalam menjelang Aero India 2009.
