Sundiata Keïta atau Sundjata Keyita atau Mari Djata I (1217 - 1255) adalah pendiri kekaisaran Mali dan dianggap sebagai pahlawan bangsa Mandinka di Afrika Barat pada epik semi-historik Sundiata. Sundjata juga diketahui dengan nama Sogolon Djata. Nama Sogolon diambil dari ayahnya, dan Jata, berarti "singa". Cerita mengenai Sundiata ada dalam tradisi.
