Rodney Robert Porter, FRS (8 Oktober 1917 – 7 September 1985) ialah seorang biokimiawan Inggris.

Lahir di Newton-le-Willows, St Helens, Lancashire, Inggris, Rodney Robert Porter menerima gelar sarjana - dengan kehormatan - dari University of Liverpool pada tahun 1939 dalam biokimia, lalu menerima gelar Ph.D. dalam bidang itu juga dari University of Cambridge pada tahun 1948.

Ia bekerja untuk National Institute of Medical Research selama 11 tahun (1949-1960) sebelum bergabung dengan Fakultas Kedokteran Rumah Sakit St Mary--University of London--dan menjadi Profesor Pfizer dalam Imunologi.

Pada tahun 1967, ia diangkat sebagai Profesor Whitley dalam Biokimia di Oxford University.

Pada tahun 1972, Porter menerima Penghargaan Nobel Fisiologi atau Kedokteran bersama dengan Gerald Edelman untuk penentuan struktur kimia antibodi yang pasti. Menggunakan enzim papain, ia memecah imunoglobin darah berpotong-potong, membuatnya mudah dipelajari. Ia juga meneliti bagaimana imunoglobin darah tersebut bereaksi dengan permukaan sel.

Ia meninggal akibat kecelakaan jalan raya dekat Winchester, Hampshire dan meninggalkan 1 istri dan 5 anak.
