Lynyrd Skynyrd (dibaca: pronounced /ˌlɛnɚdˈskɪnɝd/) adalah grup musik rock asal Jacksonville, Florida, Amerika Serikat. Grup ini mencapai puncak kejayaan pada tahun 1970-an di bawah pimpinan vokalis dan penulis lagu Ronnie Van Zant. Namun band ini tamat riwayatnya pada tahun 1977 setelah Van Zant, gitaris Steve Gaines, dan vokalis latar Cassie Gaines tewas dalam kecelakaan pesawat di McComb, Mississippi.

Didirikan pada tahun 1970. Anggota terkenal ialah singer Ronnie Van Zant, guitarists Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Ed King, and Steve Gaines, bassist Leon Wilkeson, keyboard player Billy Powell, dan drummers Bob Burns dan Artimus Pyle.

Nama grup musik ini diambil dari nama Leonard Skinner, seorang guru senam sekaligus pelatih bola basket Sekolah Menengah Atas Robert E. Lee di Jacksonville, Florida. Beberapa anggota Lynyrd Skynyrd pernah sekolah di sana, dan diajar oleh Skinner. Walaupun aktif pada tahun 1970-an, nama Lynyrd Skynyrd baru diabadikan di Rock and Roll Hall of Fame pada 13 Maret 2006. Ikut diabadikan di Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, anggota Lynyrd Skynyrd yang terdiri dari vokalis Ronnie Van Zant, gitaris Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Ed King, dan Steve Gaines, pemain bass Leon Wilkeson, pemain kibor Billy Powell, dan pemain drum Bob Burns, dan Artimus Pyle.
