Dalam parapsikologi, prekognisi (dari Latin præ-, “sebelum,” + cognitio, “memperoleh pengetahuan”), juga disebut melihat masa depan,[1] dan daya nujum,[2][3][4] adalah jenis persepsi ekstrasensor yang akan melibatkan perolehan atau efek dari informasi masa depan yang tidak dapat disimpulkan dari yang tersedia saat ini dan biasanya diperoleh informasi berdasarkan akal atau hukum fisika dan / atau alam.[5][6] Premonisi (dari Latin praemonēre) dan presentimen adalah informasi tentang peristiwa masa depan yang dianggap sebagai emosi.[butuh rujukan]
