In 2003, [[Yale University]] in [[New Haven, Connecticut]], established an interdisciplinary discussion forum for academics with a professional interest in Indonesia and related topics. This forum was established by three students, Frank Dhont, YoonSeok Lee, Thomas Pepinsky, with a member of the faculty, Indriyo Sukmono, as adviser. International Indonesia Forum (IIF) adalah organisasi yang mengadakan seminar interdisipliner tahunan di Indonesia untuk "memfasilitasi pertemuan interaktif dan partisipasi mahasiswa dan pengajar"[1] baik di dalam maupun luar Indonesia. Awalnya dikembangkan sebagai program turunan Yale Indonesia Forum, IIF sekarang dikelola secara independen. Seminar ini pertama kali diadakan di Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta pada tahun 2008. Konferensi ke-6 diadakan di Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.

Tentang

International Indonesia Forum dijalankan secara sukarela. Para pemateri acara tidak dikenakan biaya.[2] Pesertanya berasal dari kalangan akademik dan umum, termasuk organisasi non-akademik.[3] Hingga Agustus 2013[[Kategori:Articles containing potentially dated statements from Kesalahan ekspresi: Operator < tak terduga]], empat buku telah diterbitkan berdasarkan makalah yang dipaparkan di konferensi ini.
