Bus rel Bathara Kresna adalah bus rel (rail bus) milik PT Kereta Api Indonesia, yang direncanakan akan beroperasi di rute Solo Purwosari-Wonogiri. Bus rel ini adalah bus rel kedua di Indonesia setelah bus rel Kertalaya di Sumatera Selatan. Bus rel ini diperkenalkan pada publik pada tanggal 26 Juli 2011, di Surakarta bersama dengan bus bertingkat pariwisata. Bus rel ini mulai beroperasi pada tanggal 5 Agustus 2012 dengan rute Sukoharjo-Solo Purwosari-Yogyakarta Tugu. Karena ada jembatan kereta api yang sedang diperkuat antara Stasiun Pasarnguter-Stasiun Wonogiri, untuk sementara kereta api ini hanya sampai Stasiun Sukoharjo.

Bus rel ini berhenti beroperasi pada sekitar awal tahun 2013 karena rangkaian bus rel yang sering rusak. Bus rel ini dibawa ke pabrik PT Inka di Madiun untuk diperbaiki. Hingga saat ini tak ada kabar tentang bus rel ini. Pada tahun 2014, PT KAI meluncurkan Grafik Perjalanan Kereta Api (Gapeka) 2014. Di gapeka tersebut tertera nama bus rel ini, tak menutup kemungkinan bahwa bus rel ini akan beroperasi kembali pada tahun 2014.

Asal-usul istilah

Nama Bathara Kresna berasal dari tokoh Mahabharata, Krishna.
