Eric Emerson Schmidt (lahir 27 April 1955)[3] adalah seorang teknisi, mantan anggota dewan direktur Apple Inc.,[4] dan pimpinan eksekutif Google. Pada 2001–2011, ia menjabat sebagai CEO Google. Ia juga pembuat pendamping perangkat lunak penganalisis leksikal lex untuk Unix. Ia juga menjabat sebagai anggota Majelis Wali Amanah Universitas Carnegie Mellon[5] dan Universitas Princeton.[6]

Pendidikan

Setelah lulus dari SMA Yorktown (Virginia), Schmidt berlanjut ke Universitas Princeton dimana ia mendapat bachelor of science dalam teknik elektrik. Ia juga mendapat MS pada 1979 dan PhD tahun 1982 di EECS dari Universitas California, Berkeley.
