Iron Dome (Ibrani: כִּפַּת בַּרְזֶל, kippat barzel) adalah sistem pertahanan udara[8] yang dikembangkan oleh Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.[7] Sistem ini dirancang untuk menghalau dan menghancurkan serangan roket jarak pendek dan roket artileri yang ditembakkan dari rentang jarak 4 kilometer (2,5 mi) hingga 70 kilometer (43 mi) yang dinilai membahayakan wilayah penduduk.[9][10] Israel berencana untuk menambah kemampuan halau Kubah Besi, dari kemampuan maksimum 70 kilometer (43 mi) hingga 250 kilometer (160 mi) dan membuatnya lebih fleksibel sehingga dapat mencegah datangnya dua roket dari arah berlainan[11]
