John Lewis Gaddis (lahir 1941 di Cotulla, Texas) adalah sejarawan Perang Dingin dan strategi besar Amerika Serikat yang dijuluki "Dekan Sejarawan Perang Dingin" oleh The New York Times. Ia merupakan Dosen Militer dan Sejarah Angkatan Laut Robert A. Lovett di Universitas Yale. Ia juga merupakan penulis biografi resmi negarawan Amerika Serikat ternama abad ke-20 George F. Kennan. Biografi tersebut memenangi Pulitzer Prize for Biography pada tahun 2012.
