Nerd
Nerd adalah seseorang yang dipandang sangat intelektual, obsesif, atau kurang keterampilan sosial. Orang semacam itu mengisi waktunya untuk kegiatan tak populer, sedikit diketahui, atau non-umum, yang biasanya sangat teknis, abstrak, atau berkaitan dengan topik fiksi atau fantasi, dengan pengecualian kegiatan yang lebih umum.[1][2][3] Selain itu, beberapa orang yang disebut nerd dideskripsikan pemalu, pendiam, penyendiri dan kurang atraktif,[4] dan memiliki kesulitan dalam ikut, atau bahkan mengikut, olahraga.
