Joseph Johnson Dowling (4 September 1850 – 8 Juli 1928) adalah seorang pemeran panggung dan film bisu Amerika Serikat.

Kehidupan awal dan karir

Lahir di Pittsburgh, ia adalah putra dari James dan Fredericka (nee Edstrem) Dowling. Ayahnya berasal dari Pennsylvania sementara ibunya berimigrasi dari Swedia. Ia memiliki dua saudara, Laura dan James, keduanya meninggal mendahului Dowling.
