Operation Brevity
Operasi Brevity adalah serangan terbatas pada pertengahan mei 1941, selama Kampanye Gurun Barat dalam Perang Dunia Kedua. Dipimpin oleh Panglima Komandan Timur Tengah Britania, Jenderal Archibald Wavell, Operasi Brevity bertujuan memberikan serangan cepat untuk melawan pasukan lini depan dari Blok Poros (Axis) di Sollum–Fort Capuzzo–Bardia, area perbatasan antara Mesir dan Libya. Meskipun Operasi Brevety cukup sukses pada awalnya, dan membuat Komandan Tinggi Blok Poros kebingungan, sebagian keuntungan yang diperoleh pada awal pertempuran, hilang saat munculnya serangan balik, dan datangnya bala bantuan dari Jerman sehingga Operasi tersebut langsung dihentikan setelah berlangsung satu hari.
