Katharine McPhee (lahir 25 Maret 1984) adalah seorang penyanyi pop, aktris, model, dan penulis lagu dari Amerika.[2] Namanya mulai dikenal setelah ia berhasil menjadi juara dua American idol musim kelima.[2] Sebelum memasuki ajang American idol, McPhee telah mengeluti dunia teater dan opera, di antaranya ia pernah turut bermain dalam Crazy, Annie Get Your Gun, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, dan You Are Here.[2]
Namun, setelah memasuki American idol McPhee lebih berfokus pada dunia tarik suara.[3] Saat ini,McPhee telah berhasil mengeluarkan tiga buah album yang berjudul American Idol Encores (2006), Somewhere Over the Rainbow/My Destiny (2006), dan Katharine McPhee (2007).[2] [3]
