Scott Cooke "Scotty" McCreery (lahir 9 Oktober 1993) adalah penyanyi Amerika Serikat asal Garner, Carolina Utara. McCreery merupakan pemenang dalam acara American Idol musim ke-10.
Kehidupan awal
McCreery lahir pada tahun 1993 dari pasangan Judy dan Michael McCreery di Kota Garner, Carolina Utara.[1] Ibunya bekerja agen real estat. Scotty belajar memainkan gitar pada umur 10 tahun. Scotty mengikuti kontes menyanyi "Clayton Idol" yang diselenggarakan Clayton Harvest Festival di Kota Clayton, Carolina Utara. Scotty juga merupakan salah satu dari 36 kontestan "Rip The Hallways", bersama dengan beberapa penyanyi remaja dari Carolina Utara. [2]
Kehidupan pribadi
Scotty adalah penggemar berat baseball. Dia mengatakan dalam sebuah wawancara bahwa salah satu artis favoritnya adalah Garth Brooks.[3]
