Isabella Khair "Bella" Hadid (/həˈdiːd/; lahir 9 Oktober 1996)[2] adalah model Amerika Serikat, menandatangani kontrak dengan IMG Models pada 2014. Pada Desember 2016, ia terpilih menjadi "Model of the Year" di Model.com's Model of the Year 2016 Awards.[3]

Kehidupan awal

Hadid lahir dan dibesarkan di Los Angeles, California[4] putri dari pengembang real estate Mohamed Hadid,[5][6] dan mantan model Yolanda Hadid (née Van den Herik). Ibunya adalah orang Belanda, dan ayahnya adalah orang Palestina.[7] Dia memiliki dua saudara kandung yaitu seorang kakak perempuan Gigi dan adik laki-laki Anwar. Melalui ayahnya Hadid mempunyai dua kakak tiri perempuan, Marielle dan Alana. Setelah orang tuanya berpisah, ibunya menikah dengan produser musik David Foster membuatnya mendapat lima saudara tiri perempuan.[8]

Hadid dan saudara-saudaranya awalnya dibesarkan di sebuah peternakan di Santa Barbara dan kemudian pindah ke Malibu ketika ia masih di sekolah dasar.[9] Ketika remaja, Hadid adalah seorang ahli penunggang kuda dan bermimpi untuk menghadiri Olimpiade Musim Panas 2016 di Rio de Janeiro tetapi harus berhenti berkompetisi di 2013 karena menderita Penyakit Lyme.[10][11][12] Tidak diumumkan ia menderita Lyme sampai Oktober 2015.[13] Dia didiagnosa terkena penyakit itu bersama dengan ibu dan adik laki-lakinya di 2012.[14]

Di awal musim gugur 2014, Hadid pindah ke Kota New York dan mulai belajar fotografi di Parsons School of Design, tidak lama sebelum dikontrak oleh IMG. Dia kemudian keluar dari sekolah karena sukses di karier modelingya, tetapi tertarik untuk melanjutkan sekolah dan memilih Fotografi Fashion sebagai karier ketika ia sudah berhenti di modeling.[15] Hadid juga menaruh minat di akting.[16]
