Karier

Kang membuat debut aktingnya di film horor 4th Period Mystery pada tahun 2009, tetapi Kang mulai dikenal setelah membintangi film Sunny (2011).[2] Ini kemudian diikuti dengan peran utama dalam drama televisi seperti drama remaja Dream High 2 (2012),[3][4][5] drama keluarga Ugly Alert (2013), drama medis Doctor Stranger (2014),[6][7] drama komedi Misaeng (2014),[8] komedi romantis Warm and Cozy (2015),[9] dan drama hukum My Lawyer, Mr. Jo (2016). Kang juga tampil dalam musim ketiga We Got Married, sebuah acara realitas yang memasangkan selebriti untuk menjadi pasangan palsu; pasangannya adalah Leeteuk dari grup K-pop Super Junior.[10][11]
