Sir Cecil Walter Hardy Beaton CBE (14 Januari 1904 – 18 Januari 1980) adalah seorang fotografer perang, potret dan mode, penulis buku harian, pelukis, perancang dalam ruangan dan perancang kostum dan panggung untuk film dan teater pemenang Oscar.

Kehidupan awal dan pendidikan

Beaton lahir pada 14 Januari 1904 di Hampstead, putra dari pasangan Ernest Walter Hardy Beaton (1867–1936), seorang pedagang kayu kaya, dan istrinya Etty Sisson (1872–1962).
