Nia Sharma (lahir Neha Sharma pada tanggal 17 September 1990)[1] adalah seorang aktris televisi India.[2] Sharma memainkan peran Manvi dalam serial Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.[3][4] Ia memainkan peran utama wanita dalam serial Jamai Raja sebagai Roshni.[5][6] Dia adalah kontestan dalam Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.[7]
Kehidupan Awal & Kehidupan Pribadi
Nia Sharma lahir pada tanggal 17 September 1990 di Delhi . Dia adalah murid JIMS Rohini, Delhi. Dia menyelesaikan wisuda di Komunikasi Massa dari sana. Nama aslinya adalah Neha Sharma tapi dia berubah saat dia menemukannya umum dan bahkan ayahnya pun tidak mengetahuinya. Dia adalah anak bungsu dari keluarga mereka. Dia memiliki satu kakak laki-laki. Dia sangat dekat dengan ibunya seperti sahabatnya.[8]
Pada tahun 2016, Sharma menduduki peringkat nomor 3 dalam daftar Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women List oleh surat kabar Eastern Eye yang berbasis di Inggris.[9][10]
Karier
Sharma memulai karier televisinya di serial Kaali-Ek Agnipariksha. Dia membuat langkah selanjutnya dengan serial Behnein. Dia memainkan peran cameo dalam reality show The Player. Sebagai Maanvi di Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, dia memainkan berbagai karakter dalam serangkaian drama romantis kontemporer hingga komedi hingga nuansa emosional. Dia memainkan karakter yang menderita kanker dan merupakan aktris televisi India yang pertama yang botak karena peran di layar sebagai pasien kanker.[11][12] Pada tahun 2014, dia memimpin utama untuk Zee TV Jamai Raja dan bermain Roshni berlawanan Ravi Dubey tapi dua tahun kemudian ia berhenti pertunjukan.[13][14]
