Mark Peattie

Mark R. Peattie (3 Mei 1930 – 22 Januari 2014[1]) adalah seorang akademisi dan Japanologis asal Amerika Serikat. Peattie merupakan spesialis dalam sejarah militer, angkatan laut dan kekaisaran Jepang modern.[2][3]
Karier
[sunting | sunting sumber]Peattie adalah seorang profesor emeritus di University of Massachusetts Boston dan seorang anggota riset di Institusi Hoover pada Universitas Stanford. Ia menjadi profesor tamu di Universitas Hawaii pada 1995.[2]
Peattie merupakan seorang pembaca untuk Columbia University Press, University of California Press, University of Hawaii Press, Stanford University Press, University of Michigan Press, dan U.S. Naval Institute Press.[2]
