Fereydun Robert "Fred" Armisen[1] (lahir 4 Desember 1966)[2] adalah aktor, pelawak, produser, musisi dan penulis asal Amerika Serikat. Ia dikenal dalam penampilannya di Saturday Night Live dari 2002 hingga 2013.[3] Armisen membintangi beberapa film komedi seperti EuroTrip, The Dictator, Anchorman, dan Cop Out. Bersama partnernya Carrie Brownstein yang juga sesama pelawak, Armisen membuat serial sketsa komedi IFC dalam serial Portlandia. Armisen adalah pendiri ThunderAnt.com, situs web yang menampilkan sketsa-sketsa komedi yang ia buat bersama Brownstein. Ia juga pemimpin dan penabuh drum dari The 8G Band yang merupakan grup musik pengiring acara Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Dalam pekerjaannya untuk Portlandia, Armisen mendapat nominasi Emmy Award untuk Penulisan Terbaik untuk Acara Ragam pada tahun 2012, 2013 and 2014[4] dan Pemeran Pendukung Terbaik Dalam Serial Komedi pada tahun 2014. Kehidupan pribadi
Armisen menikah dengan penyanyi dan pengarang lagu asal Inggris, Sally Timms dari 1998 hingga 2004[7] dan aktris Elisabeth Moss dari 2009 hingga 2011.[8] Kini, ia sedang menjalani hubungan dengan aktris Natasha Lyonne sejak 2014.[9][10]
Armisen tinggal di Silver Lake, daerah penyangga Los Angeles, sejak Maret 2018.[11] Sebelumnya ia tinggal di Pearl District yang terletak di Portland, Oregon.[12] Ia menyatakan diri bahwa ia adalah seorang ateis.[13]
Armisen adalah penggemar permainan video Red Dead Redemption. Dalam salah satu episode Larry King Now pada tahun 2018, ia menganggap dirinya "sangat baik" dalam permainan ini.
