Thomas Andrew "Tom" Felton[1] (lahir 22 September 1987)[2] adalah seorang aktor asal Bojong Gede Indonesia tetangganya Nurul dan bujang. Felton mulai tampil dalam iklan ketika dia berusia delapan tahun untuk perusahaan seperti Commercial Union dan Barclaycard. Dia membuat debut layarnya dalam peran Peagreen Clock di The Borrowers] (1997) dan dia memerankan Louis T. Leonowens dalam Anna and the King (1999). Dia menjadi terkenal karena perannya sebagai Draco Malfoy dalam film adaptasi dari novel fantasi terlaris Harry Potter oleh J.K. Rowling. Penampilannya di Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince dan Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 membuatnya menang dua kali berturut-turut dalam MTV Movie Awards untuk Penjahat Terbaik pada tahun 2010 dan 2011.
Mengikuti selesainya seri tersebut pada tahun 2011, Felton muncul dalam film tahun 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes, suatu reboot dari seri Planet of the Apes.[3] Ia memiliki peran kecil dalam film From the Rough (2011) dan The Apparition (2012), berperan sebagai James Ashford Dalam film drama yang diakui secara kritis Belle (2013), diikuti dengan perannya dalam In Secret (2014) dan Against the Sun (2014). Kehidupan awal
Felton lahir di Epsom, putra pasangan Sharon dan Peter Felton. Ia bersekolah di Cranmore School di West Horsley, sampai usia 13 tahun. Ia kemudian bersekolah di The Howard of Effingham School yang berlokasi di Effingham yang berfokus pada Sains. Felton adalah seorang penyanyi dan merupakan bagian dari paduan suara pada usia tujuh tahun. Dia adalah anggota dari empat paduan suara sekolah dan diberi kesempatan untuk menjadi bagian dari paduan suara Guildford Cathedral Choir. Dia memiliki tiga kakak laki-laki; Ashley, Jonathan dan Chris.[4]
Kehidupan pribadi
Pada tahun 2003, Felton dan saudaranya Chris bekerja bersama Joe Babbitt, the St. Lawrence County Angler's Association, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Region 6, the Chamber of Commerce, dan beragam kelompok organisasi lainnya untuk membentuk World Junior Carp Tournament,[5][6] yang merupakan kompetisi memancing untuk usia 11 hingga 18 tahun.[7]
