Criptocrom

Criptocrom (dari bahasa Yunani κρυπτό χρώμα, warna tersembunyi) adalah flavoprotein yang sensitive dengan warna biru, yang ditemukan di tumbuhan dan binatang. Criptovrom berpengaruh terhadap ritme sirkadian pada tumbuhan dan binatang, dan pada beberapa spesies, berfungsi untuk mendeteksi medan magnet.[1] Kode kedua gen pada protein criptocrom adalah CRY1 dan CRY2.[2]
