Candaules, King of Lydia, Shews his Wife by Stealth to Gyges, One of his Ministers, as She Goes to Bed, also known as The Imprudence of Candaules,[1] adalah sebuah lukisan minyak di atas kanvas berukuran 451 x 559 cm (178 x 220 in) karya seniman Inggris William Etty, yang pertama kali dipamerkan pada 1830. Lukisan tersebut menampilkan sebuah adegan dari Histories karya Herodotus
