Heliodoxa atau cemerlang adalah genus burung kolibri dalam keluarga Trochilidae .

Taksonomi

Genus Heliodoxa diperkenalkan pada tahun 1850 oleh ahli burung Inggris John Gould . ^[1] Nama genusnya menggabungkan bahasa Yunani Kuno hēlios yang berarti "matahari" dan doxa yang berarti "kemuliaan" atau "keagungan". ^[2] Jenis spesies ini kemudian ditetapkan oleh Charles Lucien Bonaparte sebagai spesies cemerlang dahi-ungu . ^[3] ^[4]
