Akhmim
Akhmim (bahasa Arab: أخميم; bahasa Koptik: ϣⲙⲓⲛ pelafalan bahasa Koptik: [ʃmiːn]) adalah sebuah kota di Kegubernuran Sohag, Mesir Hulu. Disebut oleh orang Yunani kuno sebagai Khemmis atau Chemmis (bahasa Yunani Kuno: Χέμμις) dan Panopolis (bahasa Yunani Kuno: Πανὸς πόλις[1] dan Πανόπολις[2]), terletak di tepi timur Sungai Nil, empat mil (6,4 km) di timur laut Sohag.
