Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe (Jerman untuk Swallow) merupakan pesawat tempur turbin jet pertama di dunia.[2] Me 262 dikeluarkan saat Perang Dunia II dan mulai bertempur pada tahun 1944 sebagai pesawat terbang tempur/pengebom/pengintaian dan pencegat. Pilot Jerman memberi julukan Sturmvogel (Stormbird), sementara Tentara Sekutu menjulukinya dengan nama Turbo atau Blow Job. Me 262 diisukan telah menghancurkan 509 pesawat terbang milik Pihak Sekutu[3] (walaupun ada yang mengatakan lebih tinggi[4]) pihak Jerman diisukan telah kehilangan 100 Me 262.
