Revolusi Mesir 2011 adalah demonstrasi besar-besaran yang terjadi di seluruh Mesir menuntut agar Presiden Hosni Mubarak yang telah berkuasa selama 30 tahun untuk melepaskan jabatannya. Aksi ini merupakan salah satu aksi revolusi seperti yang terjadi di Tunisia[23] Pemerintah berusaha meredam usaha para demonstran yang menggalang aksinya dari internet dengan cara memberhentikan saluran internet dan komunikasi hingga batas waktu yang tidak ditentukan.[24] Putra dari Presiden, Gamal Mubarak dilaporkan telah meninggalkan Mesir dan menuju London bersama keluarga.[25][26]. Setelah demonstrasi berlangsung selama 18 hari, akhirnya Presiden Mubarak mundur pada tanggal 11 Februari 2011.
