Kereta Api Argo Sindoro adalah kereta api kelas eksekutif argo yang dioperasikan PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) di Pulau Jawa dengan jurusan Jakarta (GMR) - Semarang (SMT) dan sebaliknya.

Rangkaian gerbong KA Argo Sindoro menggunakan gerbong Argo Anggrek. Semua gerbong kereta ini adalah kelas eksekutif. Selama perjalanan, kereta api ini hanya berhenti di Stasiun Pekalongan, Tegal,Cirebon, dan Jatinegara.

Mulai bulan Desember tahun 2010, kereta api Argo Sindoro sudah tidak lagi menggunakan gerbong yang seperti Argo Anggrek dikarenakan semua gerbong anggrek yang sering mengalami masalah ditarik untuk diperbaiki di INKA Madiun. Sebagai gantinya KA Argo Sindoro menggunakan gerbong eksekutif argo standar SMC cadangan Argo Muria dan Harina. Rangkaian KA Argo Sindoro terdiri dari 5-6 gerbong kelas eksekutif argo (K1), 1 Kereta Makan (KM), dan 1 Kereta Pembangkit Listrik (BP).

Asal Usul Nama

Sementara pemakaian nama Sindoro menggunakan nama Gunung Sindoro yang berada di Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah. Pemakaian nama ini karena argo (jw:hargo) itu sendiri berarti gunung.
