Sejarah

Pada tahun 1975 sampai 1996 lagu kebangsaan Tanjung Verde masih menjadi satu dengan lagu kebangsaan Guinea-Bissau, untuk menggabungkan kedua negara dalam berbahasa Portugis. Namun hal tersebut pada tahun 1996 Tanjung Verde mengganti bendera kebangsaan dan lagu kebangsaan.
