Mary Louise Streep (lahir 22 Juni 1949) adalah seorang aktris teater, televisi, film Amerika Serikat.Prestasinya dalam dunia akting telah membuatnya diakui secara luas sebagai Aktris Hidup Terbesar Sepanjang Masa.

Streep melakukan debut pentas pertamanya dalam The Playboy of Seville pada tahun 1971. Debut aktingnya dimulai dalam film Julia pada tahun 1977. Sukses secara komersil membuatnya kemudian berperan dalam The Deer Hunter bersama Robert De Niro yang membuat Streep menerima nominasi Academy Awards pertamanya dan menang di tahun berikutnya lewat film Kramer vs. Kramer dengan Dustin Hoffman. Ia kemudian memenangkan Academy Award keduanya tahun 1982, lewat film Sophie's Choice dan Oscar ketiganya lewat perannya sebagai mantan PM Inggris Margareth Tatcher di The Iron Lady (2011) . Streep terus muncul di berbagai judul film ,baik drama maupun komedi dan membangun citranya sendiri sebagai aktris karakter. Ia juga dikenal sebagai 'bunglon' karena kepiawaiannya merubah penampilan fisik yang berbeda di tiap film dan juga dijuluki "Master Aksen" karena kemampuannya untuk meniru aksen asing dan domestik, dimulai dari aksen Inggris lewat film The French Lieutenant's Woman (1981), Plenty (1985) dan The Iron Lady (2011). Ia mengambil kursus bahasa untuk berbicara baik bahasa Inggris dan Jerman dengan aksen Polandia dalam Sophie's Choice (1982). Kemudian memukau kritikus dengan aksen Australia bernuansa Selandia Baru dalam film A Cry in The Dark (1988), aksen Italia dalam Bridges of Madison County (1995)dan aksen Yiddish/ Ibrani dalam film TV Angels in America. Belum lagi berbagai macam aksen lokal Amerika.

Ia adalah pemegang rekor nominasi terbanyak (aktor dan aktris) dalam sejarah Oscar dengan 17 nominasi, memenangkan tiga, dan 26 nominasi Golden Globe, memenangkan delapan, lebih dari aktor lainnya dalam sejarah. Dua Emmy Awards, dua Screen Actors Guild Awards, sebuah penghargaan Festival Film Cannes, lima New York Film Critics Circle Awards, dua BAFTA Awards, sebuah Australian Film Institute Award, lima nominasi Grammy Award, dan nominasi Tony Award. Dia dianugerahi AFI Lifetime Achievement Award pada tahun 2004 yang dihadiri sahabat-sahabatnya seperti Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton dan sutradara Mike Nichols.
