Ia mempunyai dua adik laki-laki, Ikuma Arishima (有島生馬code: ja is deprecated ) dan Ton Satomi (里美弴code: ja is deprecated ), mereka berdua juga penulis. Putranya adalah aktor film yang terkenal Masayuki Mori.
