What So Not merupakan proyek musik elektronik oleh seorang produser rekaman Australia, Emoh Instead (Chris Emerson), dan aslinya merupakan duo musik bersama musisi Flume.
Karier
[sunting | sunting sumber]What So Not dimulai sebagai proyek antara Emoh Instead dan Flume.[1] Pada 13 November 2011, What So Not merilis album mini debut mereka, 7 Dollar Bill.[2] Pada saat itu, mereka juga merilis remix dari musisi lain seperti Peking Duk, Tom Piper, dan Major Lazer.[3][4] Pada awal 2013, mereka memulai konser tur berjudul Massive Universe Tour, di berbagai lokasi di Australia.[5] Pada 28 Mei 2013, mereka merilis album mini kedua, The Quack, menampilkan kolaborasi bersama Action Bronson.[6]
Pada 20 Februari 2015, Flume mengumumkan telah keluar dari proyek tersebut dengan alasan perbedaan jalan kreativitas.[7][8]
Pada 9 Maret 2018, What So Not merilis album studio debutnya, berjudul Not All the Beautiful Things.[9][10][11]
