Bunuh diri pilot
Bunuh diri pilot (bahasa Inggris: Suicide by pilot) adalah sebuah peristiwa dimana seorang pilot mencelakai atau berniat mencelakai sebuah pesawat sebagai cara untuk menewaskan dirinya sendiri dan terkadang para penumpang yang ada di dalamnya atau orang-orang di bagian luar. Ini terkadang disebut sebagai pembunuhan-bunuh diri.[1] Ini diduga sebagai sebab yang memungkinkan dari kecelakaan beberapa penerbangan komersial dan dikonfirmasikan sebagai sebab dalam hal lain. Pada umumnya, sulit bagi para penyelidik kecelakaan untuk menentukan motif pilot, karena mereka terkadang bertindak dengan mematikan alat rekam atau hal lainnya untuk menghindari penyelidikan lebih lanjut.[2] Akibatnya, bunuh diri pilot dapat sulit untuk ditentukan dalam hal-hal tertentu.[3][4]
