Salon (Paris)

Salon (bahasa Prancis: Salon), atau jarang Salon Paris (dalam bahasa Prancis: Salon de Paris [salɔ̃ də paʁi]), dimulai pada 1667[1] merupakan pameran seni resmi Académie des Beaux-Arts di Paris. Antara 1748 dan 1890 salon de paris dapat disebut acara seni tahunan atau dua tahunan terbesar di dunia Barat. Sebanyak tiga puluh tiga pelukis, sembilan pematung, dan sebelas pengukir berkontribusi pada Salon 1761.[2] Dari 1881 dan seterusnya, salon de paris dikelola oleh Société des Artistes Français.
