Miriam Makeba (4 Maret 1932 – 10 November 2008)[2] adalah penyanyi wanita dan aktivis hak-hak sipil berkebangsaan Afrika Selatan. Artis pemenang Grammy Award sering disebut sebagai Mama Afrika. Berkarier di dunia musik sejak tahun 1954 dan sampai kematiannya pada tahun 2008 akibat serangan jantung yang dideritanya.[3][4][5]
