Alice's Adventures in Wonderland atau Alice in Wonderland (1865), harfiah Petualangan Alice di Negeri Ajaib adalah cerita fiksi yang ditulis oleh penulis dari Inggris, Lewis Carroll. Alice in Wonderland termasuk karya sastra Inggris klasik dan merupakan salah satu karya yang telah banyak dikenal di dunia terutama dalam hal bacaan anak. Alice in Wonderland bercerita tentang anak perempuan yang tersesat di dunia ajaib yang dipenuhi banyak makhluk aneh melalui sebuah lubang kelinci.

Sumber inspirasi[sunting | sunting sumber]

Kisah Alice's Adventures in Wonderland memperoleh inspirasi dari seorang gadis bernama Alice Liddell. Ia merupakan seorang anak kecil yang ingin mengunjungi sebuah rumah megah di Kebun Botani Kew. Rumah ini dikelilingi oleh tumbuhan bersulur yang batangnya menjalar kemana-mana. Dalam rumah tersebut terpancar kabut yang lembap dan berwarna hijau serta bercahaya terang.^[1]
