Apollo 15 adalah sebuah misi berawak kesembilan dalam program Apollo Amerika Serikat, program keempat yang mendarat di Bulan, dan misi berawak kedelapan yang sukses. Ini adalah yang pertama dari apa yang disebut "misi J", tinggal lama di Bulan, dengan fokus yang lebih besar pada ilmu pengetahuan daripada yang mungkin terjadi pada misi sebelumnya. Itu juga misi pertama di mana Lunar Roving Vehicle digunakan.
Misi dimulai pada tanggal 26 Juli 1971, dan berakhir pada tanggal 7 Agustus. Pada saat itu, NASA menyebutnya sebagai penerbangan angkasa berawak paling sukses yang pernah dicapai.[1]
