Auxerre merupakan salah satu komune yang terletak di Arondisemen Auxerre, Departemen Yonne, Region Bourgogne, bagian tengah Perancis. Komune Auxerre berperan menjadi ibu kota dari Departemen Yonne.
Ekonomi
Selain menjadi sebagai ibu kota Departemen Yonne, Komune Auxerre juga berfungsi sebagai pusat perdagangan dan perindustrian. Perindustrian yang berada di Komune Auxerre di antaranya produksi makanan, perkayuan, dan baterai. Auxerre juga dikenal ke seluruh dunia atas produksi minuman anggurnya, termasuk Chablis yang diperkenalkan kembali.
Demografi
Penduduk Komune Auxerre disebut sebagai Auxerrois. Penduduknya berjumlah 44.620 jiwa (2006), tetapi di kawasan perkotaannya dapat mencapai 88.000 jiwa.
