Equidae adalah famili binatang seperti kuda yang masuk kedalam ordo Perissodactyla. Famili ini kadang-kadang disebut sebagai famili kuda. Contoh hewan yang masuk kedalam genus ini adalah keledai, zebra onager. Tiga hewan itu masuk kedalam genus Equus.
