Film bencana adalah sebuah genre film yang menampilkan bencana terkini atau tertunda sebagai subyek dan perangkat alur utamanya. Bencana semacam itu meliputi bencana alam seperti banjir, gempa bumi, tsunami atau tabrakan asteroid, kecelakaan seperti kapal tenggelam atau kecelakaan maskapai penerbangan, atau malapetaka seperti wabah penyakit.
