Paket es kutub adalah wilayah es paket besar yang terbentuk dari air laut di wilayah kutub Bumi, yang dikenal sebagai tudung es kutub: paket es Arktik (atau tudung es Arktik) berada di samudera Arktik dan paket es Antartika berada di Samudera Selatan, tepatnya lapisan es Antartika.
Wilayah es laut yang berada di kutub pada saat musim dingin memiliki luas sekitar 15.600.000 km2 (6.000.000 sq mi) baik di Antartika atau Arktik.
