== Riwayat ==
Ditugaskan pada tahun 1938, ia berjasa banyak selama [[Perang Dunia II]], mengambil bagian dalam pertempuran di [[Pertempuran Mediterania|Mediterania]] dan [[Perang Pasifik|Pasifik]]. Setelah perang, kapal ini dinonaktifkan pada tahun 1946 dan tidak digunakan sampai akhirnya dijual ke Argentina pada tahun 1951. Berganti nama menjadi ''''''Nueve de Julio''''', kapal ini tetap beroperasi dengan [[Angkatan Laut Argentina]] sampai tahun 1978, setelah itu dia dibawa ke [[Brownsville, Texas]] dan dibongkar pada tahun 1983.

USS Boise (CL-47) adalah sebuah kapal penjelajah ringan dari kelas Brooklyn dalam Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat. Kapal penjelajah tersebut mengambil nama dari Boise, ibu kota negara bagian Idaho.

Riwayat[sunting | sunting sumber]

Ditugaskan pada tahun 1938, ia berjasa banyak selama Perang Dunia II, mengambil bagian dalam pertempuran di Mediterania dan Pasifik. Setelah perang, kapal ini dinonaktifkan pada tahun 1946 dan tidak digunakan sampai akhirnya dijual ke Argentina pada tahun 1951. Berganti nama menjadi 'Nueve de Julio, kapal ini tetap beroperasi dengan Angkatan Laut Argentina sampai tahun 1978, setelah itu dia dibawa ke Brownsville, Texas dan dibongkar pada tahun 1983.

Boise menerima 11 bintang tempur atas jasanya di Perang Dunia II.
