Hubungan antara Amerika Serikat dan Uni Republik Sosialis Soviet (1922–1991) menggantikan hubungan sebelumnya antara Kekaisaran Rusia dan Amerika Serikat dari 1776 sampai 1917 dan mendahului hubungan modern antara Federasi Rusia dan Amerika Serikat yang dimulai pada 1992. Hubungan diplomatik penuh antar kedua negara tersebut didirikan pada 1933, yang dikarenakan kebutuhan saling menguntungkan antar negara tersebut. Pada Perang Dunia II, kedua negara tersebut sempat menjadi sekutu. Pafa akhir perang, isyarat-isyarat pertama dari ketidakpercayaan pasca-perang dan pertikaian nampak dimulai antar dua negara tersebut, yang berpuncak dalam Perang Dingin; sebuah periode hubungan ketegangan, dengan periode détente.
