Mary Ward

Mary Ward (née King; 27 April 1827 – 31 Agustus 1869) adalah seorang naturalis, astronom, mikroskopis, penulis dan seniman Inggris-Irlandia. Ia meninggal saat ia jatuh di bawah roda mobil uap eksperimental yang dibuat oleh para sepupunya. Karena peristiwa tersebut terjadi pada tahun 1869, ia menjadi orang pertama yang diketahui tewas akibat kendaraan bermotor.
