Pareidae adalah nama familia ular yang terdiri dari 26 spesies. Ular-ular ini terdapat di Asia Tenggara dan sebagian India.[1] Sebelumnya, terjadi kesalahan pada penamaan familia ular-ular ini, yaitu Pareatidae, tetapi kesalahan ini sudah diperbaiki dan penamaan yang benar adalah Pareidae.[2]
